Today started off with my gorgeous Husband treating me to abit of a sleep in. He got up with our sweet child and gave her breakfast and kept her busy, while I slept soundly until 10am. When I woke up, we chilled abit at home and then decided to go have a nice little bit of lunch at Mugg & Bean up the road from us.
By the time we finished there, it was Eden's nap time. We came home and got her ready for her nap, which wasn't too hard to do because she fell asleep in the car on the way home. It was so hot, I just let her sleep in her nappy. I switched on the fan for her and opened her bedroom windows so that she could get a nice breeze in her.
I went to lie down on my bed, started reading tweets on my blackberry and happened to be in a sweet breeze spot and started to drift off. Stupid giant flies kept waking me up from my nap. Those huge black flies that buzz around at the worst moments. My pillows narrowly missed all of them.
The next thing I knew, my husband was waking up and we were getting ready to meet my side of the family for an early dinner at a seafood restaurant. We had a great time and all the grandchildren had a blast. It was nice to all get together like that because it does not happen alot at all.

Mrs Roberts
I love my new surname but am still getting use to it.
It just dawned on me that weeks after I have been married, i need to update all my policies to state the name change. i just a few minutes on the phone and emailing marriage certificates etc. Its such an exercise!
I still have to get use to writing down "Roberts" instead of "Lendowsky". I have been doing that with work and every now and again i am reminded that i am a Mrs now.
It feels wonderful being a married woman now. I love the fact that we had such a spur of the moment wedding and it was so romantic. only our family and closest friedns were present. I dont think i would have enjoyed an expensive elaborate wedding at all. Ours was just PERFECT!
Married life is sweet and full of bliss. Not that it wasn't that way before. Being married just officially makes us family now and I am so happy to be a part of the Roberts family.

Suffering with Psoriasis
I have had to deal with since the bane that is Psoriasis since I was about 13 years old. Its something that developed out of no where, a small little spot on my neck that someone thought was a ringworm, that later spread to me entire scalp, neck and back. Highschool was a nightmare, I had people commenting that they could smell something terrible when it actually was the psoriasis on my neck oozing.
My mother had no idea how to help with it all. She made me try every remedy from health shops. She made me use nappy rash cream because she thought it was a form of cradle cap. All of it only made it worse.
Eventually my sister in law took me a dermatologist - Dr Tenea. She gave me the regular corticosteroids any Dr would prescribe. It helped, for about a year. Then I went on Allgergostop treatment with The Advanced centre of Homeopathy. It also helped. I preferred the homeopathic route but the treatment it self was very expensive for a student with no medical aid.
When I got pregnant, I had absolutely no psoriasis. It was like a miracle. I honestly thought that it was gone for good. The day after I gave birth to my beautiful daughter, I had the first spot at the back of my neck.
17 months later, I have gone through one dermatologist treatment; two allgerstop treatments and diet changes. Nothing has taken it away. At best only half of the psoriasis had gone but came right back.
I really have no idea what to do now.

My Wedding Day
I got married to a wonderful man and father of my child, Nick Roberts, on the 27th of October 2011.
It was a beuatiful garden wedding that was simple and elegant. I only family and the closest friends there. Luckily my sister had found the venue through one of her family friends. The weather luckily held up as the was alot of rain expected on the day.

I wore a beautiful dress that I hired from Morgan and Brown in Midrand: http://www.morganandbrownbridal.co.za/catalog/
I felt like an absolute princess.
All my hair and makeup was done by myslef and a friend. I had a team of family and friends who helped me get the dress on and who made sure I felt like a pampered bride.
My beautiful daughter and brides maid wore an outfit from Wool worths in Fourways Mall, Her dress and shoes together didnt even come up to R200 and she looked too cute for words
Instead of a wedding cake, we opted for 4 dozen cupcakes. We had red velvet, chocolate, vanilla and carrot flavour cupcakes. We had ordered them from Tart at Leaping Frog on Fourways. The were absolutely perfect and all the guests enjoyed them.

My Walk down the Aisle. My eldest Brother Michael, walked me down the aisle to the song "Dont Stop Believing" by Journey. It was so funny, because he kept trying to tell me to slow down but I just couldnt wait to get to the aisle and get married!
The Marriage officer, was George van der Riet. we opted for a non-religious and non-denominational ceremony. He was very funny and the ceremony was amusing and short.
Nick and I really had fun and I laughed so much throughtout the ceremony
Our beautiful daughter, Eden, just wnated Mommy and Daddy when the ecremony was going on. She ran to us and wanted to hold my hand, as were in the middle of the creemony. It was the cutest little moment and so spontaneous. It made it feel so perfect that she was a part of it.
Our first Kiss as Husband and Wife.. we did it Twice :-)
The whole day was perfect and I could not have imagined it any other way. It was not an eloborate, crazy expensive wedding. Definitely not a Kim Kardashian wedding but It was my kind of perfect.
here is to Happily Ever After xoxoxo
